We have a new addition to our family: Sookie! She’s a ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She loves bully sticks, flowers, and belly rubs!

My husband and I bought our first home recently. It is a small Tudor, about 1000 square feet. We just wanted to remove a couple of walls between the dining room, kitchen, and living room to open up the space and my mom recommended a contractor to us. After speaking with him, we found out that it was financially feasible enough for us to renovate the kitchen as well. Three weeks later, the walls are gone, and our kitchen is finished. We went for a cottage look with some modern elements to update it.

Countertop: quartz we found at a local Chinese-owned stone shop
Backsplash Tiles: white subway tiles from Lowes
Floor Tiles: ceramic tiles (looks like wood) from Bullnose Tile
Hardware: Lowes
Sink: CorStone Primrose Single-Basin Apron sink (special order from Lowes)
